KW Variant 1, Variant 2 and Variant 3 Coilover suspensions kits are now available for BMW 3-series (G20) Sedan and 3-series (G21) Wagon





Now the KW Variant 1, Variant 2 and Variant 3 Coilover suspensions are available for the latest BMW 3-series Sedan (G20) and 3-series Touring (G21, Wagon) with xDrive. Sedan and Wagon can be lowered continuously by 40 - 60 millimeters on both axles. All three KW Coilover suspension kits increases the driving dynamics of the BMW. All KW Coilover suspension kits are made in Germany.

All KW Coilover suspension kits with their factory-set, pre-configured damping setup already provide an increase in steering precision, stability and road holding. For BMW drivers who want to increase driving dynamics even further and influence the ride comfort, should opt for KW Variant 2 and KW Variant 3. KW Variant 2, for example, allows the rebound stage damping to be adjusted by 16 clicks to influence the handling and ride comfort.

KW Variant 3 also has this function and can also be tuned in the low-speed compression stage with twelve clicks using the integrated compression wheel on the lower shock absorber housing. This allows BMW drivers to influence potential pitching and roll movements of the body. In simple terms, the task of the rebound stage is to connect the body to the road, while the compression stage influences the compression and supports the chassis.





In the low-speed range, we mean the piston rod speeds as they occur, for example, during slow steering movements. High-speed excitations, on the other hand, are bumps and cross joints. The high-speed valves are pre-configured directly at the damper construction. They cannot be adjusted via the adjustment wheels and support harmonic damping when driving over bumps or uneven road surfaces.

On wavy tarmac surfaces, the KW Coilover suspension variant 3, in particular, dampens very harmoniously and prevents bumpy road handling. Any pitching and rolling motions of the chassis are greatly minimized on the BMW 3-series (G21) Touring and the BMW 3-series (G20) Sedan. Whether in the everyday driving on country roads or on poorly maintained back roads, fast travel on the motorway or vacation driving over Alpine passes with never-ending serpentines, the KW Coilover suspensions further enhance the road handling of the popular BMW 3-series.

Our tuning philosophy for our Street Performance suspensions such as the KW variant 3 is always to achieve a driving behavior that is as tight as necessary and as comfortable as possible. This is made possible by the adjustable KW 2-way valve technology (TVR-A rebound damping and TVC-A compression damping). With 16 clicks it allows the rebound forces and with twelve clicks in the compression the driving behavior of the BMW 3 Series (G20) Sedan to be individually tailored to your personal preferences Wheels due to the blow-off characteristics of the variant 3 damper.



Einfache Montage dank KW engineering



As part of the parts certificate, the new BMW 3 Series Sedan and BMW 3 Series Touring can be lowered continuously on the front and rear axles. The adaptive KW DDC plug & play coilover kit with electronically controlled dampers will soon be available for both vehicles . The first applications are also being developed for the sedan with xDrive, as well as for the BMW 3 Series Touring with rear-wheel drive.
