For decades, the sporty BMW 3-series models have convinced generations of drivers. Throughout all the BMW 3 Series generation, the driving dynamics was and still is in the focus of the BMW 3-series Sedan, the BMW 3-series Touring and also the new BMW 3-series Gran Turismo as well as the BMW 4-series Convertible, BMW 4-series Coupé and BMW 4-series Gran Coupé. With the KW coilovers made of stainless steel, the typical BMW agility is increased even more due to the superior KW damper technology.
In addition, our KW coilover suspension kits give your BMW 3-series (F30, F31, F34) and BMW 4-series (F32, F33, F36) as well as the BMW M models (F80, F82, F83) a clear plus in driving dynamics and safety in combination with a stylish lowering. The stepless lowering takes place on all KW coilovers for the BMW 3-series via the dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread directly on the stainless steel strut and on the rear axle height adjustment.
On both axles, the BMW can be lowered individually within the tested adjustment range. As one of the few manufacturers in the aftermarket, we offer our comprehensive suspension range also for the popular BMW xDrive models. Depending on the model, our KW coilovers are of course also available for BMW E30, E36, E46, E90 and as individual production also for the BMW E9 and E21 based on our KW Competition racing suspension.
KW Coilovers Variant 1, Variant 2, Variant 3 und KW Street Comfort
KW Variant 1: With its pre-configured KW damper setup, the "Variant 1" offers the optimum balance of sportiness and everyday practicality.
KW Variant 2: In addition to a continuously lowering, the "Variant 2" also allows a more comfortable or tighter damping adjustment through the adjustable rebound stage with 16 clicks.
KW Variant 3: The perfect symbiosis of more driving dynamics, everyday practicality and adjustment options is offered by the KW coilover kit Variant 3. In addition to stepless lowering, a separate adjustment of rebound and compression damping is possible. 16 exact clicks in rebound and 12 exact clicks in compression.
KW Street Comfort: If the standard suspension should be too hard in everyday life or if the lowering springs work too unharmonious with the standard shock absorbers in long term, the KW Street Comfort coilover suspension is the ideal solution for more driving comfort. The shorter KW damper housings allow a comfortable residual spring travel. In addition, the rebound damping can be adjusted with 16 clicks either more comfortable or stiffer.
KW DDC – the (suspension)future is now!
The adaptive KW DDC Plug & Play coilover kits are available for the BMW 3-series and BMW 4-series with adaptive suspension.
When installing, the adaptive standard suspension is replaced by the KW technology and the BMW on-board electronics immediately recognizes the KW DDC Plug & Play coilover suspension. All vehicle-specific suspension functions remain and the original control button will continue to be used.
If the BMW not yet has an adaptive standard suspension, the KW DDC ECU coilover kit is the ideal retrofit solution including suspension control unit, cable connections and optional WLAN module for a suspension adjustment via smartphone.
KW Clubsport – die maximale Fahrdynamik für Straße und Rennstrecke!
The KW Clubsport coilovers are characterized by an uncompromising technology transfer from racing to the road.
The KW Clubsport coilovers available in the versions KW Clubsport 2-way (independent rebound and compression stage adjustment with 16 clicks in rebound and 12 clicks in compression) and KW Clubsport 3-way (adjustable in 6 clicks low-speed and 14 clicks in high-speed compression stage as well as 16 clicks in rebound) differ from conventional sports and coilover suspensions by their high-performance dampers.
Of course, the KW Clubsport coilovers with their aluminum Unibal top mounts are road legal and are the ideal performance suspension for all BMW drivers who regularly participate at track days and want to experience the suspension technology of the BMW M4 GTS.
