For every Toyota GR86 Typ T2 the perfect coilover kit: KW V1, V3, V3 Clubsport, and V4 Clubsport now available for the Japanese sportscar
The Toyota GR86 isn’t a facelift model of the GT86 – it is a completely new and revised vehicle of the Japanese automobile manufacturer Toyota. The model of Toyota is equipable with a variety of new tuning parts of KW such as the V1, V3, V3 Clubsport, and V4 Clubsport. The car has a rear axle drive and a 2.4-liter four-cylinder boxer engine without a turbo. The Toyota GR86 with 6-speed manual transmission has a total performance of 235 hp.
While the KW V1 coilover kit helps to lower your car, the KW V3 is compression and rebound adjustable. Both products are designed primarily for everyday use and can be installed in the Toyota GR86.
With our KW Clubsport coilovers, we mainly address the track day drivers in the motorsport segment who drive on racetracks regularly. The V3 Clubsport is two-way adjustable in the lowspeed rebound and compression. The three-way adjustable V4 Clubsport made by KW is set with small adjustment wheels in highspeed and lowspeed compression and lowspeed rebound. Toyota itself describes the vehicle as a car full of driving fun and excellent handling. Thanks to the low center of gravity because of the motor, the Toyota GR86 lies well in the curve. Our coilover kits further improve those characteristics: KW products give the car a sportier look and better driving dynamics.
The Toyota GR86 Typ T2 was launched in April 2022 and is only to be built until March 2024. Like its successor – the GT86 – the front motor and the rear axle drive stayed. The vehicle weighs 1.275 kilograms. KW automotive has more than 25 years of experience in the segment of professional tuning and vehicle refinement. In comparison to other manufacturers, we produce more than 90 percent of our coilover components at our headquarter in Fichtenberg, Germany. When engineering our Clubsport coilover kits for the GT86 successor we use different spring rates in our coilover springs. Moreover, the rebound valves vary in construction and used components.
