The KW V3 Racing is the entry-level product for professionals and semi-professional mass sport and customer motorsports. The suspension is available as monotube or twin tube damper with 40 mm Upside-down cartridge and separate compression and rebound. The V3 Racing is available as vehicle-specific development or as an custom-made product.
The V3 rebound has a direct impact on the operating speed of the piston rod when decompressing. It influences the rate of relaxation of the coilover spring. It regulates how fast the coilover spring goes back to its initial position.
Independent of the rebound, the basic lowspeed compression setup is adjustable with help of the compression click settings within 12 clicks. Compression impacts the deflection speed of the piston rod. This results in different car body rolling motions and different steering behavior of the vehicle.
